Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran have run Lemaire out of Paris's 11th arrondissement since 2014, after Christophe stepped away from the creative directorship at Hermès. The label sits in a hard-to-define space: not luxury in the traditional sense, not contemporary, not streetwear. The closest shorthand is "the wardrobe of a slightly older, slightly more deliberate person" - which is also why it has spread quietly through editor closets, The Cut features, and the curated buys at the better department stores.

If you live in North America, finding Lemaire in person is a chase. The brand has no flagship in the United States or Canada and works almost entirely through wholesale partners and its own e-commerce. The list below is what we see currently stocking the label across our retailer index, sorted from most reliable inventory to most occasional.
