Loewe is the rare luxury house that turned a quiet leather workshop into a cultural fixture without ever feeling try-hard about it. The Madrid-based brand was founded in 1846; for most of its first 170 years, it sold beautiful leather goods to a small Spanish clientele. The shift came in 2013 when LVMH installed Jonathan Anderson as creative director and gave him room to remake the entire identity of the house.

Anderson left in 2025 to take over Dior, and Loewe is now in its post-Anderson chapter. The catalog still carries plenty of his work - the Puzzle bag, the Hammock, the Anagram-pendant pieces - but the new leadership is gradually steering the brand somewhere fresh. The list below is a current map of where to actually buy the label in the United States and Canada.
